Khalsa Community School strives to be a NUT FREE ENVIRONMENT. We ask that parents refrain from sending food products with peanuts/ nuts as ingredients.

All parents are to inform the school of any allergies that their child may have. If your child becomes sick at school, you will be notified to collect him/her.

The act requires that children must be excluded from attending school when they are suffering from a communicable disease. If your child complains of feeling ill before arriving at school, please do not send him/her to school.

Bill 142, Immunization of School Pupils Act, 1983, is now being implemented by the Peel Regional Health Department. The Act legislates that all pupils in school be fully immunized against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (German Disease), Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio. Pupils without up-to-date immunizations cannot be admitted to school.
